Thinking of booking a staycay this month? There’s a new option to try from November 30 as Jumeirah is opening a new hotel on Saadyiat Island, Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort.

The luxurious beachfront resort is home to 293 rooms, including eight villas complete with private pools. The hotel also houses 64 suites and six panoramic suites, which each come with floor-toceiling glass walls that open up for pristine ocean views.

There’s a big focus on sustainabi­lity too, and the resort will be free of plastic straws and singleuse plastic bottles. Instead, guests will be offered compliment­ary reusable plastic bottles, which can be refilled at water stations throughout the hotel.

An impressive seven food and beverage outlets will open in the hotel, including Italian restaurant Mare Mare, Levantine-inspired TEAN, and Offside sports bar. All day dining restaurant White will feature daily live cooking stations and buffets, Al Majilis and The Lounge will be perfect spots for a cup of coffee or afternoon tea respective­ly, while Pool Bar serves up snacks poolside.

For leisure, the resort boasts no less than three swimming pools as well as a floodlit tennis court and water sports. Perfect for those wanting to stay active while kicking back.
