CHRISTMAS COMES BUT ONCE A YEAR…

It’s probably just as well, given the huge amount of work that goes into it. I remember a time when all I had to worry about was writing a letter to the big man, and acting like an angel in the lead up to prove I was worthy of the latest Turbo Quad roller skates (they were a big deal in my town in the ‘90s, OK?). But now? It’s making sure everyone has the right present to Instagram, but most importantly sorting out where – and what – you’re going to eat and do to entertain family and friends. Luckily, here at What’s On we laugh in the face of Christmas planning. Yes, we have everything covered for a happy festive season in the capital (p12) from where to go, what to do and what to eat. Ding-dong merrily high-five!

Away from Christmas, and we still have a tonne of things to tell you about.
