The Islamic calendar’s most important month begins

The holy month has always been a special time of year. It’s a time when Muslims around the world abstain from eating, drinking or smoking between sunrise and sunset, but it’s also a time for prayer, religious devotion and reflection. This year will no doubt be even more unique during these challenging times, but it is during these times where embracing the spirit of Ramadan, no matter what religion you practice, is even more important. Help your community by supporting local businesses, donate to charity organisations, call your family, and lend a hand (even if only virtually) to those in need.
