The American celebrity chef behind Todd English Food Hall

Dubai being a great food city. I believe it’s a city that likes to eat.

Todd English Food Hall is a modern market of food. You’ll find cuisine from all around the world with a little bit of my own interpretation thrown into the mix.

It’s fun, daring, and yet authentic, all served up in an environment that is conducive to having a great time.

If you’re really hungry, you should try the burger challenge. If contenders can finish a whopping eight patties with cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion rings and French fries within 20 minutes – we’ll give you the dish for free.

I am impressed with the Dubai restaurant scene. There is a lot of diversity here. I love the international aspect, but I like that Emirati cuisine is also celebrated. We’ve tried to reflect that celebration of diversity at Todd English Food Hall.

I grew up loving the aroma of garlic, onion and olive oil. My mother’s side of the family is Italian and they all love to cook. I think I was born loving food.

Last weekend on earth, where am I eating? I’d be in Italy, with a bowl of popcorn chicken, caviar and a big glass of red from Bordeaux.
