New restaurant Kizmet opening soon next to Dubai Opera

Those who’ve been in Dubai for a while will remember The Pavilion fondly. It was a brightly-lit cafe right on the boulevard in Downtown Dubai, particularly popular with the city’s freelancers. The owners of new restaurant Kizmet – meaning fate or destiny – miss it too, and have decided to try and help fill the hole that The Pavilion left behind. Scheduled to open this month, Kizmet will have super-fast Wi-Fi, free coffee for early birds (on select days) and breakfast available until 3pm. Check out our review in the January issue.
