MARY QUEEN OF SCOTS
★★★★ ★ DIRECTOR: Josie Rourke CAST: Saiorse Ronan, Margot Robbie, Gemma Chan and Guy Pearce It might not be 100 per cent historically accurate, but this corseted clash between the titular Mary (Saoirse Ronan) and Elizabeth I (Margot Robbie) is excellent. Guy Pearce as William Cecil and Gemma Chan as Bess of Hardwicke are also wonderfully cast, but this film belongs to Ronan and Robbie, who both deserve Oscar nods for their exceptional performances.
