DAY 1
01 PREPARE
Guests are welcome to check in from 10am. You’ll walk through the incredible gilt-edged hallway, past the golden Egyptian sculptures and into the enormous lobby. Once you’ve checked in and received your What’s
On wristband, up to the Orientation Room you go, on floor 2...
Orientation Room
There’s a lot of fun stuff happening this weekend, and you’ll want to know what’s what. Inside the orientation room on floor two, you’ll find a host of free treatments to enjoy. You’ll also find out about discounted spa treatments available exclusively to Lock In guests during your stay.
Free treatments
Part of the fun at the What’s On Lock In lies within the Orientation Room where you can enjoy free hair braiding courtesy of CHALK, free piercings from Kyra Care, free beard trims thanks to Bristles & Mane, and even free express head, neck and shoulder massages from Sofitel SPA with L’Occitane. Please note all treatments are available on a firstcome-first-served basis.
Safety measures
To ensure our guests’ safety, all guests must wear a mask throughout their staycation and respect social distancing. Each venue will be capped in accordance to government guidelines and security will be on hand to enforce rules at all times.
What’s On and Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk have the right to eject anyone not abiding by these regulations off the premises.
02 BRUNCH
From 1pm to 4pm, What’s On Lock In guests have exclusive access to the brand-new all-inclusive Fat Cat Brunch at The Nine Gastropub – a brilliant new venue with the self-proclaimed
“best fish ‘n’ chips in Dubai”. You be the judge as we takeover the brunch, enjoying a selection of British sharing platters (think prawn cocktail, short rib sliders, cauliflower croquettes and bangers & mash), and a platter of desserts including millionaire shortbread and sticky toffee pudding. There’ll be inventive cocktails, music, and much more.
03 PARTY ON
After brunch, the party makes its way to the fourth floor for five free drinks (until 8pm) at the brand new Taiko (right) – a sultry Asian-inspired bar and restaurant made famous in Amsterdam and conceptualised by founder and executive chef Schilo van Coevorden.
04 CONTINUE THE NIGHT
After 8pm, guests can choose between staying on in Taiko where they’ll receive 30 per cent off selected drinks, or journey on to the delightful Soleil Pool & Lounge for 30 per cent off food and selected drinks.
05 BEDTIME
Once you’re partied out or stuffed to the brim, head to your elegant room for some well-earned shut eye. Inside each room you’ll find a Sofitel MyBed™ known for its comfort, and unparalleled views of old Dubai, including the Creek, Harbour and the iconic city skyline.
DAY 2
06 RECOVER
Rise and shine with an a la carte breakfast in La Veranda with fresh fruit, baked goods, and eggs made to order. The perfect start to any morning...
