Moving from one foodie celebration to another, we also explore new dining district Wasl 51 in Jumeira. This little nook, we discovered, has many exciting indie restaurants and cafes, including Dubai’s first dedicated focacceria, which only serves three items on its menu: burrata, tiramisu and focaccia. Can you imagine a better combination than that? Me neither. So, as Shakespeare nearly wrote, if music be the food of love, play on… and pass the napkin.
