TWO GREAT i SSUES!
We switched our weekly paper recently and were pleasantly surprised to browse t hrough t he wknd. magazine over the last two weeks. Ipersonally l oved the write- up on Carolyn Robb ( Secretsfrom The British Royal Kitchen, Feb 26) and how she brought both flavour to the royal table as well as love to her own kitchen: all the time doing what she l oved — averyimportant lesson to be learnt in today’s age of relentless competition.
Last week, Yazemeenah Rossi ( How To Be 60, Fit and Fabulous, Mar 4) had another important message: realise your i ndividuality. These days, al most every oneof us aspires to be a copy of those we i dolise or look up to — and, in this obsessi o n , we fo r g e t our own id e n t i t y . The realisation that we are unique brings with i t awhole new world of opportunity and discovery that we sh o u l da sp i r e t oe mbrace .
