STRAW­BERRY FROZEN YO­GHURT

Cut the tops of the straw­ber­ries if they are fresh and rinse them well. Add the su­gar, straw­ber­ries and lemon juice to a bowl and leave aside for a few min­utes. Add the yo­ghurt to a blender, and add the straw­berry mix­ture. Blend well till smooth.

At this point, strain it if you’d like the seeds to be re­moved or pour it di­rectly into your ice cream ma­chine and fol­low in­struc­tions. If you do not have an ice cream maker, pour the yo­ghurt mix­ture into a freez­able con­tainer and place into the freezer for a few hours till frozen.

Re­move the frozen yo­ghurt from the freezer and, us­ing a fork or hand mixer, mix the yo­ghurt well and place back into the freezer.

Serve once it’s firm enough to scoop.
