All the world is once more your stage at DUCTAC, as a new two- week special Autumn Intensive acting course for adults kicks off on September 24. In a total of 12 hours, topics including improvisation, voice movement, Shakespeare for beginners, character development, scene study, and audition style will be covered.
Led by instructor- director Sol Abiad, the progressive learning process is based on game- playing and creative exercises, involving low- impact physical activity. Class size is limited to 15 students to allow for individual attention to all participants. Extra study material, such as play synopses and scene samples, will be provided by the professor, and participants will get a chance to perform at the end of the course in a season finale showcase at Kilachand studio theatre.
