Arrow Season 4 ( 2012-) ( TV- 14) Team Arrow is back ( you didn’t really think Oliver [ Amell] and Felicity’s [ Rickards] hiatus from crimefighting could last forever, did you?). This season, they’re up against dark magic like they’ve never seen before and a man ( fittingly) called Damien Darhk, around whom arrows fall like flies. Brace yourself for some next level evil, because Damien’s plans for Star City are going to blow your mind. Throw in some major drama ( will Diggle forgive Oliver, what will happen when Felicity meets her estranged father, is Ray Palmer alive, will Sara survive the Lazarus Pit?) — and you can bet your weekend is sorted. Duration: 45 mins x 23 episodes Genre: Action, Adventure, Drama, Crime What’s good: The twists keep the suspense game on point What’s bad: The demise of a key protagonist will have you reeling Starring: Stephen Amell, Katie Cassidy, Emily Bett Richards Rating: Blindspot Season 1 ( 2015-) ( TV- 14) Jane Doe ( Alexander) wakes up in the middle of Times Square with no clothes and no memories of her past, and is kept under protective custody by the FBI. Despite having no memories, she seems to have combat and language skills and the intricate tattoos across her back seem to point towards a larger conspiracy. As the FBI attempt to unravel a crime circle which is mysteriously connected to Doe’s tattoo, Jane must fight to figure out who she really is — and whose side she is on. This one is brimming with twists and turns. Duration: 45 mins x 23 episodes Genre: Mystery, Crime, Drama What’s good: A great premise What’s bad: Loads of plot holes Starring: Sullivan Stapleton, Jaimie Alexander, Rob Brown Rating:
