Get­ting the right fuel, at the right time, can make a real dif­fer­ence to your train­ing. Make sure you nail it by down­load­ing the en­dur8 app, which is de­signed to give you re­al­time prompts as you train. The app works by cal­cu­lat­ing key re­fu­elling points along any course dur­ing your train­ing and race. Just cre­ate an ath­lete pro­file in­clud­ing your age, weight and gender; en­ter the sport you’re do­ing; GPX up­load or de­sign your own route and then add your nu­tri­tional pref­er­ences. en­dur8 will then work out when you should re­fuel and with what us­ing a science-based al­go­rithm, and alert you when it’s time to fuel. The en­dur8 app is avail­able to down­load for Ap­ple de­vices now, with an­droid com­ing soon.
