SPEEDO AQUAPURE
Twinning a race profile with a stylish design, Speedo’s latest goggle claims a precision fit at a competitive price
Many a swimmer will know the inconvenience of treading water to rub away the fog mid-training, so Australian company Speedo have set out to answer this with their Aquapure pool goggles.
Their smoked lens claims to not only offer lasting fog-banishing clarity but also reflects light away from eyes to reduce glare.
Speedo twins a low-profile shape with a soft-on-skin silicone seal to prevent leaks and offer a snug fit, while an adjustable double strap and three-option nose bridge provides tailored comfort. There’s also a smart ruler system on the straps so you can remember your optimum fit. They’re lightweight and streamlined, so are designed to get ahead in training and for pool-swim triathlon races, and come with a storage pouch. We’re taking to the water to put these anti-fog-meetscomfort claims through their paces – look out for the results in the next issue of 220, out on 4 October.
