BROOKS CASCADIA 13
£100 When a shoe makes it to number 13, they should be doing something right and there’s much to admire with the Cascadia 13. For neutral runners who want more cushioning, these 308g numbers will hold plenty of appeal. But that’s not to say there isn’t a highspeed angle here, and there was enough feel for the trails via the 10mm drop responsive midsole. We relished attacking the ascents in them and they’re decent enough while going down, but lack the forward propulsion of the Inov-8 and Hoka. Traction is good when dealing with mud, but we had wobbles on slippery rocks.
