LOWER BODY HIIT

Lower body HIIT (high-intensity interval training) sets are a good way to combine strength and endurance to your workout. Plan to include 6-8 stations with each focusing on a different lower body exercise. To make the session tougher, during the rest period include a core stability exercise as your ‘active rest’! Example set 6 x 45-60secs of exercise, 20secs rest/core. Exercises include squat, forward lunge, bear crawl, backward lunge, step-ups, Spiderman crawl, etc.
