Featuring a back zipper and the same thickness of Italian fabric throughout the suit, it’s probably not the best for racing in very hot locations, but that won’t often be an issue in the UK. The huge laser-cut leg grippers aren’t overly close-fitting or compressive, yet don’t feel baggy. The fit is roomier and wider across the chest than most of the other suits on test. The chamois has adequate levels of padding but is quite narrow at just 13cm across at its widest point, so we’d be hesitant to race the London Speed in anything longer than an Olympic-distance tri.
