YOUR EXCLUSIVE ITINERARY Day 1 – Welcome to corfu

Following your flight from London, you will stay at the five-star Marbella Hotel for four nights. There is an optional tour through Corfu Town in the afternoon, followed by welcome drinks and dinner at the hotel.

Day 2 – an evening With Lee Durrell

Today starts with a private guided tour around the Achilleion Palace, which is filled with mementoes of its former owners, Empress Elisabeth of Austria and Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany. You can also see the house where Gerald Durrell’s mentor Theo lived. The afternoon is free for you to explore, or enjoy the swimming pool, spa and private beach at your hotel. This evening, naturalist and writer Lee Durrell will give a fascinating talk about the family’s history with Corfu and its wildlife, and tell the story of her and Gerald’s work for the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust. Day 3 – Discovering the Durrells

You will visit some of the locations that millions have fallen in love with while watching The Durrells. Lee Durrell will accompany you as you follow in the footsteps of the family, first by seeing the exterior of two of the villas the family lived in, the DaffodilYellow Villa and Snow-white Villa, and then taking a trip to Pontikonisi, a place that Gerald and his sister Margo loved to visit. Lunch is at another favourite of the Durrells: the taverna in the White House in Kalami, the beautiful building that was once their family home.

Day 4 – ionian cruise

Today you will take a cruise from Corfu to Parga, where you will have time to explore this picturesque coastal port and have lunch before sailing on to the tiny, unspoilt island of Paxos. You will sail back to Corfu in time for your farewell dinner at a local restaurant. Day 5 – returning home

You will be transferred back to Corfu airport to check in for your return flight to London. extend your trip
