DAY 1: Welcome to Delhi
Take an afternoon tour of Delhi’s iconic sights before checking into The Claridges.
DAY 2: Delhi to Agra
Drive to Agra, home of the Taj Mahal. Explore the mighty Agra Fort and witness the beauty of the Taj Mahal at sunset. Stay at the Doubletree by Hilton.
DAY 3: Agra to Jaipur
We journey to the place where most of The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel was filmed. On the way, you’ll visit the magnificent ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri, just outside Jaipur. You’ll also take high tea at Castle Kanota – the venue for the Viceroy Club in the film. Stay at the Narain Niwas Palace Hotel.
DAY 4 : Jaipur
Discover this lovely city by exploring the Amber Fort, City Palace and Palace of the Winds. You’ll then enjoy lunch at the Khatu Haveli, as seen in BBC2’S The Real Marigold Hotel. Sleep overnight at the Narain Niwas Palace Hotel.
DAY 5 : Jaipur to Bijaipur
Relax and sleep at the charming Castle Bijaipur, run by the local ruling family.
DAY 6: Bijaipur
Enjoy free time to relax or explore at your own pace. Optional activities include yoga, a dawn walk to spot local birds, bike or horse rides. In the evening, we’ll go for a Jeep drive to local villages and enjoy a sundowner. Stay again at Castle Bijaipur.
DAY 7 : B i Jaipur to Khempur
Visit Chittorgarh and its colossal fort. Then check into the real Best Exotic Marigold hotel in Khempur. In the evening, enjoy a private cart ride in the countryside and watch The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel after dinner.
DAY 8: Khempur to udaipur
We’ll take the short journey to Udaipur, which overlooks a pair of stunning lakes. In the evening, you’ll enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola. Accommodation: Karohi Haveli.
DAY 9: udaipur
This morning explore the lakes, gardens and palaces of Udaipur. Enjoy a farewell dinner at Ambrai, a garden restaurant with views of the Lake Palace. Stay at Karohi Haveli.
DAY 10: A fond farewell
Breakfast in Udaipur before you fly home.
