British game tech company ikinema has signed a deal that releases access to its full-body ik solver to developers creating games on nintendo switch. the runtime tech enables the creation of convincing motion for human and fantasy multi-limbed characters during gameplay. “we’re thrilled to have signed this licence agreement with nintendo,” said ikinema founder and CEO Alexandre Pechev. “runtime’s powerfully fast and advanced technology has long thrived serving other popular platforms. it makes sense to grant nintendo switch game developers access to the same outstanding tech, so they too can create games with life and realism.”
