You can do pretty much any­thing in CG an­i­ma­tion. You can build your mod­els and then an­i­mate them to run, jump and roll-over to your heart’s con­tent. But one thing that is tough to do in CG – it turns out – is squash and stretch. This is that ex­ag­ger­ated mo­tion look that is so closely re­lated to the old 2D Tex Avery car­toons.
