We don’t just write about Porsches, we drive and live with them, too

THE TEAM STEVE BENNETT 996 C2

I thought I’d finished messing around with the suspension on my 996, but a set of Eibach adjustable suspension arms have come into my care, so I’m going to get them fitted up. I’m thinking GT3 geo...

KEITH SEUME 914

We’re getting there – that’s the best way to describe the current state of play. Suspension done, wheels and hub swap done, bumpers done, side marker removal done… It’s only money, after all.

CHRIS HORTON 924S, 944

For years I’ve been intending to fit a rear antiroll bar to the 924S – which oddly came without one from new. Well, the brackets and drop-links are finally on. All I need to do now is find some bushes of the right size.

PETER SIMPSON 356C, 3.4, 2.7, GARAGE

BRETT FRASER BOXSTER 986 3.2S

A trip down under means that the Boxster has languished somewhat, and on my return a rusty MX-5 has taken priority. But I can’t escape the fact that it needs new discs again, so that’s the next job.

JOHNNY TIPLER BOXSTER 986 3.2S

I’ve taken the mileage of the Boxster from 35,000 to 70,000 in the 2.5-years I’ve owned it, so I thought a bit of a valet and some soft-top care was in order. Warning lights are still flashing, though!

JEREMY LAIRD BOXSTER 987 3.2 S

Bright sunny days in winter and some roof down action serve as a timely reminder of the joys of convertible Porsches. But the call of a coupe remains strong. 2020 might just be the year of Croc 2.0.
