As is true of the rear-driven Taycan, introducing a bigger battery pack adds weight. The 0-62mph time of the 4S PBP is identical to the 4S PB, but it’s on other acceleration metrics where the former noses ahead. Until the Taycan (RWD) PBP arrived, this was the ‘range champion’ of the line-up, boasting an impressive 287-mile capability. PBP costs marginally less (a drop of £143) on the 4S than it does on the entry level Taycan, but still requires additional spend of £3,906.
