The first of the twin motor Taycans is also the least expensive if you want (or need) four-wheel drive. Like the newly introduced rear-driven Taycan, there’s a 4S equipped with a standard battery and the option of a bigger lithium-ion unit. The 4S PB, however, has the shortest official range of any Taycan, delivering only a whisker beyond 250 miles. On the plus side, there’s significant upswing in power and torque when compared to the new rear-wheel drive Taycan.
