WATER-COOLED WASTEGATES

In addition to boasting modular interchangeable actuators, independently oriented actuator bases, new ‘strap type’ V-band clamps, a diaphragm design offering linear travel (regardless of spring), optimised pressure, userdefined valve positioning, increased thermal performance and superior gas flow, many modern external wastegates feature integrated liquid cooling ports following successful adoption of the technology in motorsport environments. Liquid wastegate cooling for the majority of applications shouldn’t be required, but it’s useful if your setup dictates less than optimal positioning and/or a particularly hot engine bay.
