For all models of 911, including air-cooled variants, KW Automotive offers height adjustable coilovers. The German brand’s latest development is a Variant 4 coilover kit with three-way adjustable shocks for the 992 Carrera, Carrera S, Turbo and Turbo S, now available through independent Porsche parts specialist, FVD Brombacher, with or without electronic damper cancellation kits for PASM. As you’d expect, on undulating surfaces, this new KW product harmoniously dampens and prevents bumpy driving behaviour, while any pitching and rolling movements of the vehicle body are vastly reduced. The dampers in each kit are easily adjustable in the low-speed compression, high-speed compression and low-speed rebound stages, delivering a huge amount of flexibility in configuring 992 suspension settings, allowing each driver to define personal preference as far as the best compromise between sporty driving dynamics and ride comfort is concerned. Based on the three-way valve technology currently used in many GT3 cars and featuring remote reservoirs with rotary adjustment dials, these sophisticated coilovers provide a user-defined drop in ride height of up to 35mm and are supplied with the necessary height adjustment tools.
