HERITAGE ‘HERETICS’ MEETS RESUME FOR 2022

-

Following a two-year hiatus due to restrictions brought about by the pandemic, the popular Heritage Parts Centre ‘Heretics’ meets are back for 2022. Occupying the car park and yard at the Porsche and Volkswagen parts supplier’s West Sussex headquarters, big crowds and a high number of air-cooled classics are expected to pack the site, as they have done since the first such Heritage Parts Centre get-together in 2009.

In fact, demand is expected to be so high after two years of lockdown, the company is billing the meets as ticket-only events as a way of managing the number of vehicles in attendance and to avoid complete gridlock on the narrow entrance road on the Shoreham-by-sea industrial estate Heritage Parts Centre calls home.

The event will run from 5:30pm every third Thursday of each month through until September. Food and drink will be on sale and a local guest DJ will play a soundtrack until event end at 9pm. Despite being a ticketed gathering, the cost of entry is zilch. All you need to do is book your car’s spot before places become unavailable. There’s no need to panic if you miss out — you can still attend on foot without a ticket, though Heritage Parts Centre requests anybody doing so parks their car with consideration on the surrounding roads. Visit the company’s social media profiles @driveheritage for further information.
