Great new-look property guide inside

-

HUNDREDS turned out for the opening of the first-ever show home at the new Green-booth Village development in Norden. Known to be one of the most in demand areas of Rochdale, Norden is massively popular with families looking for a combination of good schools and quaint village feel but still within driving distance of Manchester city centre.

Russell Homes held a three-day event, welcoming guests with Prosecco and canapes, while they toured the four-bedroom Cawson show home, taking in the views over Green-booth Reservoir and the hills beyond.

The weekend saw potential buyers from across Norden, Bamford, Heywood, Hopwood, Edenfield, Rochdale, Bury and Manchester visit the site off Over Town Lane.

Jackie Matheson, Russell Homes sales consultant, said: “I have never seen anything like it, there were so many people having a look around the site, enjoying the refreshments and the fantastic weather, it was a really great few days.

“The feedback on the showhome itself was fabulous, the construction team and interior designers have done an amazing job, and it was good fun showing off all their hard work to our visitors.”

The launch weekend followed a special VIP preview evening where local celebrity chef Andrew Nutter hosted a cooking demonstration in the new showhome and cut the ribbon with longstanding Norden councillor James Gartside and Russell Homes director Andrew Russell.

The showhome itself is a fourbedroom detached house with an integrated single garage, off road parking and a good size south facing garden.

As you enter the property the main living area boasts a large bay window, which lets in a superb amount of light and leads on into an open plan kitchen diner.

From there you can step through a set of French doors and into the back garden.

The ground floor also has a separate utility and toilet.

Upstairs there are four good-sized bedrooms, with a master en-suite, and a family bathroom arranged around a large landing.

The whole development is set back in the picturesque Naden Valley, overlooking Greenbooth Reservoir.

One of the main attractions of this brand new development is its fantastic location, offering peace, tranquillity and is perfect for active families, with direct access to the Pennine trails.

Greenbooth Village is made up of a variety of 42 three, four and fivebedroom properties.

Prices at Greenbooth Village start from £269,995. Pop along to the showhome Thursday to Monday, 10am to 5pm or visit www.RussellHomes.co. uk to find out more.
