CIVIC ARTS CENTRE

-

FOLLOWING the success of our recent Open Mic Night at the Civic Arts Centre, where we saw a fantastic array of talent and an eclectic mix of singers, musicians and poets, we are trialling a three-month Second Sunday Open Mic Night with the brilliant acoustic singer/songwriter Wal Brown.

We will roll this out all year if it proves to be popular.

Sunday dates booked so far are - February 11, March 11 and April 8.

People of all ages will be free to try out their songs and practice performing with full stage and lights in our intimate studio theatre and get feedback from other musicians and friends.

Even if you have never performed before, this is an ideal opportunity to showcase your talents, take risks and practice and develop performance skills in a relaxed and friendly environment.

We welcome singers, musicians, bands, comedy, poetry and everything else in between.

A full PA system will be available, musicians should bring their own instruments and singers bring your own backing tracks if needed.

There will be a fully licensed bar available. Doors 7pm.

Free entry, but we will require a small donation to help with the running of the night.

The sessions will be held at the Civic Theatre and Arts Centre, 155-157 Union Road, Oswaldtwistle, BB5 3HZ.

Please call Lauren on 01254 398319 for more information.
