HAWORTH Art Gallery is thrilled to announce that former local artist and musician Edward Foster will be playing a special concert at the Haworth Art Gallery on Sunday, June 24, at 2pm.

Edward will be playing music from his first album Raven.

The album is a collection of 15 solo pieces that he has composed for classical guitar.

These pieces are drawn from experiences of travel, deep feelings and the beauty of the Forest of Bowland where he now lives.

The album will be available to purchase on the day.

He will also be playing music from his forthcoming album (out in August) called Toucan.

Toucan is inspired by travels in Costa Rica and South America.

There is also a suite of music inspired by the Isle of Arran in Scotland.

The rest of the music is Spanish/Flamenco and romantic in style.

As well as being a musician, Edward is also well known as an artist.

As such, he specifically designed and painted the Raven album cover and created the design for his forthcoming release Toucan.

This is a free concert and we ask that people arrive early to secure their seats.

Refreshments are available from The Gallery Kitchen and may be consumed in the Music Room.
