Defeat... but it’s difficult not to smile!

-

(probably for quite some time).

A brace for Zanzala is promising and he also gets an assist to be fair to him. His gleaming smile is infectious when he scores, and he looks so happy he might burst. Transfer those performances into the league and he’ll be a real striker for us.

A quick mention to Dan Barlaser’s beauty as well, he has been threatening that for a few games but crikey.

What a goal that was by the whole team. Just a quick mention as well about the amount of young lads we have not playing football at the minute.

We’ve seen one young player leave on loan this week to Barrow (sorry for swearing), I’d like to see Liam Nolan put out somewhere too because he isn’t getting a sniff and to see a promising player like him wasted doesn’t sit right with me.

Let him go and play Conference football and have minutes under his belt. Same with Rodgers too because we’re stifling development.

There’s no point in them sitting and watching us every Saturday.

Which now brings me to the weekend, we need a result to keep any sort of momentum up in the league and stay in touching distance with the leading pack who are starting to quickly gear away from the rest.

Bradford may have only amassed half the points that we have but they always bring a massive following. Couple that with the new Eric Whalley Stand and it’s certain to be a special atmosphere on Saturday.

I’m growing increasingly excited to see these followings arrive and what kind of noise the stadium can reach in the modern era.

Here’s hoping to get back on track with a win and sample the glorious winner’s hour once again, Up the Reds.
