Accrington Observer - - SCHOOLS NEWS -

Swashbuckling pupils in class 2 dressed as pirates and decorated their classroom to resemble a pirate ship.

Headteacher Phil Turner said the event was organised as part of their topic based learning.

He said: “Activities included creative writing about an adventure with a treasure chest, drawing treasure maps in geography, baking biscuits and decorating them to look like a pirate’s face, and a treasure hunt around the school to find their own loot.”
