MRS Mary Anne En­twistle, of Sta­tion Road, Hun­coat, Ac­cring­ton, passed away on Wed­nes­day, Oc­to­ber 24, aged 62.

Mary was work­ing in cur­rent ser­vice as a full-time school ad­min­is­tra­tor at Blessed Trin­ity RC High School, Burn­ley where she had worked for 16 years and also as an as­sis­tant li­brar­ian at Ac­cring­ton Li­brary on Satur­days.

Mary was a faith­ful parish­ioner at St Joseph’s RC Church and she vol­un­teered her time reg­u­larly at the church, on the Credit Union and on the Sacra­men­tal Pro­gramme. She was the trustee of the PTFA at Blessed Trin­ity School where she held the po­si­tion for over 20 years.

Mary’s main in­ter­est was spend­ing time with her hus­band, chil­dren and grand­chil­dren, al­ways putting them first.

She leaves Philip En­twistle - her hus­band of 37 years - and her chil­dren Martina, Amanda, Sab­rina and Do­minic.

A fu­neral ser­vice will take place at 9.30am, on Mon­day, Novem­ber 12, at St Joseph’s RC Church, Bel­garth Road, Ac­cring­ton, ad­min­is­tered by Fr. Si­mon Stamp, fol­lowed by burial at 11am at Ac­cring­ton Ceme­tery.
