DECEMBER delights at Haworth Art Gallery HAWORTH Art Gallery has a fabulous array of events and activities leading up to the Christmas holidays.
Throughout December visitors can tour the ‘Transforming Our Town’ exhibition featuring the history of Accrington, the development of the new town square and plans for the future.
On Sunday, December 9, we start our Christmas countdown including Free Family Christmas Crafts with Busy Bee from 1.30pm to 3.30pm and a Christmas concert from the Red Rose Singers at 2pm.
This is followed on Sunday, December 16, with a Free Christmas Family Fun Day from 12 noon to 4pm, where you can meet Father Christmas and his elves, join Busy Bee and the Grey Daughter for Christmas crafts and activities, follow the Christmas trail and meet the Friends of The Haworth at their tombola stall.
Haworth Art Gallery will then close for the Christmas holidays from 4pm Friday, December 21, and will re-open on Saturday, January 5.
The Gallery Kitchen will closed at 5pm, Sunday, December 23 (except for private pre-bookings) and re-open Wednesday, January 3, from 11am to 4pm.
