HOUSE BLAZE

FIREFIGHTERS attended a house fire in Accrington.

Crews were called out to Albert Street at around 6.20pm on Thursday, December 13.

Two fire engines attended and tackled the blaze with the use of two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and one ventilation unit.

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service said crews were in attendance for 50 minutes. There were no casualties reported.

CHIMNEY FIRE

FIREFIGHTERS tackled a chimney fire in Great Harwood. Crews from the town were called to Blackburn Old Road at around 8.10pm on Saturday, December 15.
