Health bosses urge ‘choose right health service’

HEALTH bosses across Hyndburn are urging people to choose the right health service if they are feeling unwell this winter.

GP services will be open from 8am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday and there is a new system of extended GP out of hours after 6.30pm on weekdays and at weekends.

The dedicated minor injuries unit at Accrington Victoria Hospital is also open from 8am to 8pm seven days a week and the 111 number can signpost patients to the most appropriate service.
