Rodgers is hoping for game time
HARVEY Rodgers is looking forward to getting some game time under his belt after joining Hartlepool United on a one-month loan deal.
Rodgers has found first team opportunities at Stanley tough so far this season, and has now made the temporary switch to the National League side in a bid to play more games.
He made his debut for the team on Saturday as they picked up a 1-0 away victory against Leamington in the FA Trophy, and he hopes to kick on over the coming weeks.
“I’m delighted to be here.
“This is a big club so I’m really pleased to come here and hopefully I can play some games and get us pushed back up the table,” said Rodgers.
“With the new manager coming in everyone will on a level playing field and fighting to get in to the team so I am looking forward to it.
“I’ve only come in for a month but I think there are around seven games in that period so it’s great for me and I can’t wait to get going.”
Rodgers joined Accrington on a permanent basis from Fleetwood Town in January, having spent time on loan at the club in 2017.
