GARAGE FIRE

AN investigation has been launched after a fire involving cars and a garage in Oswaldtwistle.

Fire crews from Hyndburn and Blackburn were called to Blackburn Road shortly after 1am on Saturday, December 22.

A Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Firefighters used two hose reels and two breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.

“No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.”
