Raising pints and pounds at the pub
KIND-HEARTED pub patrons have raised nearly £5,000 for charity.
The Railway in Huncoat has held various fundraising activities over the last 12 months in aid of Children with Cancer UK.
Ian McCann rode 400 km through Burma to help the cause in October this year.
He said: “This year the pub has raised an incredible amount of money for charity nearing £5,000.
“Huncoat village’s only remaining wet sales establishment in the heart of the village should be proud of the community it serves.”
