Archie’s a right Royal star
AMUM has spoken of her joy after the Royal couple gave their newborn son the same name as her little boy.
Alexandra Harrison, from Accrington, is a big fan of the Royal Family and was shocked to discover her eight-year-old son Archie now shares a name with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s child.

ing him as ‘ Your Royal Highness’ and curtsying to him.
Alexandra, 38, said: “He thought it was amazing that they called him Archie Harrison.
“He always said he was going to be a celebrity one day. He thought that was it then and his time had come.
“He’s going to be charging 50p for autographs!
“He was so excited. His middle name is William so he has a very Royal name.
“When he went to school they were saying ‘hello your royal highness’ and curtsying to him. They were calling me the Queen.”
Alexandra works as a paediatric nurse at Royal Blackburn Hospital and has been speculating for weeks what the Royal baby would be called.
She said: “I’m a big fan of the Royal family. Everybody at work laughs at me because I always come in with loads of facts about the Royal family.
“I’m like a loving reporter. I know every little detail about Harry and Megan.
“We were all trying to guess what the baby would be called and when they chose Archie Harrison I couldn’t believe it because I’m such a big fan and my Archie has been following it too.
“We thought they would call him Spencer after Diana Spencer.
“We couldn’t get over that they called him Archie and not Archibald.
“It’s a lovely name. We are very pleased he’s called it.
“Forever people will be saying ‘are you THE Archie Harrison?’ We can say he was the original.”
The Duchess of Sussex gave birth to Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor on Monday, May 6, seventh in the line of succession to the British throne.
Introducing him to the cameras last week, Meghan said: “He has the sweetest temperament, he’s really calm. He’s been the dream.”
Prince Harry joked: “I don’t know who he gets that from.”
