CASES heard at Blackburn Magistrates Court:
MARK Stephen Steel, 59, of Edleston Street, Accrington, pleaded guilty to breaching a sexual harm prevention order and failing to comply with the notification requirements following his release from custody. He was jailed for 17 weeks.
LIAM Michael Healey, 27, of Ormerod Street, Accrington, pleaded guilty to criminal damage at Chesterfield and North Derbyshire Royal Hospital and while subject to a conditional discharge order. He was ordered to pay £50 compensation.
GAVIN Thomas Sommerville, 38, of Boundary Road, Accrington, pleaded guilty to failing to comply with the supervision requirements following his release from prison. He was fined £60 and ordered to pay £60 costs.
LEE Bradbury, 32, of Blackburn Road, Accrington, pleaded guilty to failing to comply with the requirements of a community order. He was fined £200 and ordered to pay £60 costs.
GAIL Marie Grogan, 48, of Walter Street, Huncoat, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and having an article for use in the course of theft. She was given a 12-month conditional discharge.
DWAYNE Holt, 32, of Straights Lane, Reed, pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis in Accrington. He was given a six-month community order with a 10-day rehabilitation activity requirement, fined £50, ordered to pay £85 costs and disqualified from driving for 18 months, reduced by 18 weeks if he completes a course approved by the Secretary of State.
