Bridal shop owner ‘returning to roots’
A BRIDAL shop owner is returning to her roots after seven years at Accrington Market Hall.
Ann Howarth has run Balcony Brides on the upper level since 2012 and next month will relocate to her hometown of Oswaldtwistle.
She told the Observer: “I have loved it here in the Market. The people are so friendly but it’s just time for me to move on
“I’m going back to my roots. My mum had a bridal shop in Oswaldtwistle for 30 years.
“A shop became available close to where I live and I’m Ossy. born and bred. I will be so sad to leave everybody here.”
Balcony Brides will close in the Market Hall on Friday, July 19, and will reopen at 361 Union Road in Oswaldtwistle on August 9.
