Youngsters enjoy lakeside trip
YEAR 5 and 6 students at St Peter and St Paul’s CE Primary School in Rishton have enjoyed a residential trip to the Lake District.
Molly Bottomley, of the school, said they had a fun-filled weekend at YMCA Lakeside and completed activities, including climbing and abseiling, canoeing and kayaking.
They also tackled the zipwire, king swing, a blindfolded obstacle course and search and rescue.
Molly said: “The children also spent the first evening by the campfire singing songs and putting on a talent show.”
