Home hit by blaze
FIRE crews rushed to a house fire in Oswaldtwistle.
Witnesses watched on as three fire engines from Hyndburn and Blackburn attended the address on Rhyddings Street at 7.35pm on Tuesday, July 9.
The fire engulfed a terraced house along the road which resulted in two casualties suffering from smoke inhilation.
Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus tackled the blaze with two hose reels and one jet
North West Ambulance Service were also called to the scene in the town where they treated the two casualties.
Crews managed to successfully get the fire under control and extinguished the blaze. .
