CASES heard at Blackburn Magistrate­s Court:

AARON Moore, 22, of Lime Avenue, Oswaldtwis­tle. Pleaded guilty to two counts of assault by beating in Blackburn on October 12, 2019. He was given a 12-month community order with a 10-week curfew requiremen­t with electronic monitoring, a 10-day rehabilita­tion activity requiremen­t, ordered to pay £300 compensati­on and £85 costs.

MARLEY Pearson, 22, of Blackburn Road, Accrington. Pleaded guilty to possession of a bladed article in a public place, four counts of burglary, and theft, whilst subject to a suspended sentence. He was jailed for 16 weeks concurrent suspended for 12 months, given a 20-day rehabilita­tion activity requiremen­t, 80 hours unpaid work and ordered to pay £200 compensati­on.

MICHAEL Burke, 24, of Whalley Road, Accrington. Pleaded guilty to three counts of assault by beating, and criminal damage, whilst subject to a conditiona­l discharge. He was ordered to pay £317 compensati­on.

PHOENIX Korn, 38, of George Street, Oswaldtwis­tle. Pleaded guilty to stalking. He was given a 16-week prison sentence suspended for two years, given a 30-day programme requiremen­t with Building Better Relationsh­ips and a 15-day rehabilita­tion activity requiremen­t and ordered to pay £85 costs.

CLARE Roach, 33, of Somerset Grove, Church,

Accrington. Pleaded guilty to drink driving in Accrington on February 15, 2020. She was fined £120, ordered to pay £85 costs and banned from driving for 20 months, reduced by 20 weeks if she completes a course approved by the Secretary of State.

KRZYSZTOF Jagiela,

43, of Craven Street, Accrington. Pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention, failing to stop and give informatio­n after being involved in an accident and driving whilst disqualifi­ed in

Accrington on February 13, 2020. He was given a 12-week jail sentence, suspended for 12 months, ordered to pay £85 costs and banned from driving for three years.

CASES heard at Burnley Magistrate­s Court:

BEN Rothwell, 30, of Moscow Mill Street, Oswaldtwis­tle, Accrington. Pleaded guilty to shopliftin­g and assault in Accrington on November 27, 2019. He was given a 12-month community order with 20-day rehabilita­tion activity requiremen­t, fined £20, ordered to pay £50 compensati­on and £200 costs.

JAKE Hargreaves, 21, of Moss Hall Road, Accrington. Pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis when suspected of having driven a vehicle in Blackburn on August 26, 2019. He was fined £400, ordered to pay £400 costs and banned from driving for 18 months, reduced by 18 weeks if he completes a course approved by the Secretary of State.
