Owen’s making an impact for Storks

HAVING scored a late winner for the Under-18s on Friday, Owen Devonport then made an instant impact for Padiham the following day as the youngster grabbed The Storks’ third goal in a 3-1 victory over Squires Gate.

Devonport, who had been named on the bench for the encounter at The Brian Addison Stadium, was introduced into the game as an 83rd-minute substituti­on and the midfielder found the net just two minutes later to secure all three points for Michael Morrison’s side.
