EILEEN HINDLE

-

EILEEN Mary Hindle passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, April 14, with family by her side, aged 74.

Loving wife to Stuart, devoted mum to Sharon and Simon, dear motherin-law to Gary and Louise, cherished grandma to Ellie, Jack, Olivia, Niamh and Cooper, also sister to John and Ian, and a loyal friend to many.

Eileen started her working life at Highams Mill, Woodnook where she worked in the hemming room, before moving onto work for Marks and Spencer in Accrington.

Family life started for Eileen and she took employment on the Housewife shift at Joseph Arnolds.

In later years, Eileen decided it was time for a career change and became landlady of the White Bull for two years, before finally finishing her working life at Asda Accrington, fron where she retired after 22 years of service.

In Eileen’s spare time she loved to do cross stitch and watch her favourite soaps. Socialising was something Eileen thoroughly enjoyed, whether it be at the Masonic Ladies Evenings or on teas at Immanuel Church Cricket Club.

Family holidays were always looked forward to - Isle of Wight and Lanzarote being her favourite go to places.

Eileen made many great friends along the way, which was no doubt helped by her fantastic sense of humour.

Eileen’s funeral service will be held at Accrington Crematorium on Thursday, April 28 at 11.40am.

Family flowers only please; donations in memory of Eileen are being gratefully received on behalf of East Lancashire Hospice c/o champfunerals.com/ obituaries
