Get­ting per­mis­sion

I’m well im­pressed with Rus­sel Webb’s ar­ti­cles re­cently. He’s done re­ally well in get­ting per­mis­sions and I ap­plaud him for that. I know how hard it can be to get one and for years I’ve had no luck at all, but last year I was talk­ing to my wife’s friend who loves her horses. She told me that a horse at her yard had been in­jured by putting its leg down a rab­bit hole, and that the owner had paid a for­tune to the vet to get it bet­ter.

I of­fered to help fence off the area that had the most bur­rows and re­duce the num­bers af­ter that. It’s now my reg­u­lar shoot and I’ve had lots of bun­nies to eat since then. You never know

Hello Dan That’s great news that you’ve found a per­mis­sion of your own. I know only too well how frus­trat­ing it can be, and the true plea­sure of hav­ing a place you can go to get away from ev­ery­day life whilst en­joy­ing your hunt­ing. Ed.
