SAXON CELEBRATIONS

Air Gunner - - In The News -

Daystate’s latest limited edition rifle is quite a looker as you can see from the picture. The Saxon LE is based on the Wolverine action with all its superb safety features such as; bolt- open safety, anti- double-load mechanism built into the magazine indexing system, and a centrally mounted safety catch. Add to that a bolt system that can be changed from right to left in minutes, and you have a rifle that is fully ambidextrous as well as extremely safe. The stock is designed by Gary Cain and manufactured in Italy by Minelli. The Saxon is a celebration of England that commemorates the 950th anniversary of the end of Saxon rule and the coronation of the Norman King William I (William the Conqueror) on the 25th of December 1066. The colours used reflect the popular ones of that time. A custom knife from Bison Bushcraft, based in the town of Battle, near Hastings, where the foundry is just yards from the 1066 battlefield, is included with the rifle and its handle uses the very same laminate wood as the stock. Every one of the 150 Saxons to be made has been ordered by gun shops already, so get in touch with your nearest Daystate dealer now if you’d like to own one. www.daystate.com RRP £1990.00
