I’m writing to show my appreciation of Eddie Jones’ articles, which are always down-to- earth, practical and helpful to an ordinary hunter like me. I met Eddie once at a game fair and I’m pleased to say that he turned out to be the same person in real life as he is in the magazine. Now for my question; has Eddie had any sort of specialist marksmanship training to make him as good as he is, or is he self taught?
If there’s a ‘shoot like Eddie Jones’ course available, I’d like to sign up for it.
Thanks for a great magazine. Sandy Phelps
Great timing, Sandy. Turn to page 28 of this issue where you’ll read Eddie’s description of how he learned his hunting stripes, in his own words. Ed.
Eddie learned his craft the hard way - as you’ll see on page 28!
